Vladimir Chlistovsky, P.Eng.

Vladimir graduated with an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Toronto. With more than 25 years of professional experience, Vladimir’s carer has encompassed a number of industries and roles: Insurance appraiser of commercial and industrial machinery, equipment and buildings; Quality, production and design engineer; and forensic engineer being the most recent. Vladimir investigates fires and explosions, product failures, and other types of losses. Vladimir is an Internationally Certified Fire and Explosions Investigator, and serves as a board member and National President of the Canadian Association of Fire Investigators (CAFI). Vladimir also serves as a designated expert in Standards Counsel of Canada (SCC) Certifying Body and Laboratory Accreditation programs.

SYNOPSIS:

Join Vladimir in a review of the basics of fire investigation, the fire investigation industry and methodologies employed in an origin and cause fire investigation. Vladimir will take you through several case studies which will put the methodologies into practice.
