David Galvao has nineteen years of experience in Building Code application and experience in fire protection and Building Code consulting. David Galvao has been the project manager for fire and life safety on major transit projects including the Sheppard Line expansion, Spadina Line extension, and the schematic design of the underground stations proposed for the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) line.

SYNOPSIS:

The revitalization of Union Station, the renovation of the subway, and the rehabilitation of the Trainshed roof are concurrent construction projects taking place at Canada's busiest and most significant passenger transportation hub. The seminar will review the Code challenges having a major impact to design for each project and their interrelationships as construction continues to completion.
