About Us

The Southern Ontario Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) is based in Toronto but has members from the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. All members of SFPE International as well as anyone involved in the fire protection industry are welcome to attend Chapter activities and events.

We offer various events to educate members on current fire protection trends, concerns, or updates relevant to their careers. These are often 1 hour Lunch and Learn Meetings (virtual or in-person) as well as larger half-day or all-day events to provide larger discussions and networking opportunities.

The Southern Ontario Chapter is very involved in promoting fire protection engineering and the specific ideals of SFPE International, whose goal is "Advancing the Science and Practice of Fire Protection Engineering Internationally". SFPE International and our Chapter support the growing field of fire protection engineering.

You can become a member now by joining our Chapter, and build your network!

You can also meet Your Executive Committee and consider how you may be able to contribute!
