Falconer Engineering and Testing

Don has 40 years of fire protection and building construction experience, including 12 years with ULC and 18 years with a leading manufacturer of sprayed fire-resistive materials, intumescent fire-resistive coatings and firestopping products.

Don opened Falconer Engineering and Testing in 2008, and offers fire protection engineering services, specializing in passive fire protection including structural fire protection and firestopping.

Don is a P.Eng. licensed in ON, SK, AB, BC, Yukon, NWT and Nunavut.

Don is a member of the ULC S100A Committee on Fire Tests, ASTM E5 and E6, NFPA, ICC, FCIA, SFPE International and past president of the Southern Ontario Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.

SYNOPSIS:

Don will use a project study to relate current Canadian code and fire test requirements to application issues and design considerations for firestops.
