Peter Hallinan, B. Comm.
SSi Fire Solutions

Peter has over 20 years of experience working in the Fire Protection and Life Safety Industry primarily in roles such as Sales and Project Management and is a past Executive Director of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association. A long time volunteer with the CFAA Peter currently sit’s on it Board of Directors as well as being a Board Member and Treasurer for the Canadian Fir Safety Association.

For over 30 years Peter has been a Volunteer Firefighter currently serving as a Training Officer within the Ottawa Fire Services. In addition to leading the development and training of his District he has supported, and participated in Fire Dynamics Research and advocates for new methods and technologies to safely combat today’s changing fires.

SYNOPSIS:

Aerosol extinguishing units are based on the environmentally friendly SFE Powdered Aerosol technology, also known as EMAA (Encapsulated Micron Aerosol Agents), designed for total flood fire suppressant applications. The technology is based on the chemical reaction of solid energetic materials that generate, via the combustion process, large amounts of highly efficient, cost effective, powdered aerosol. Highly effective in Telecommunications, Energy and remote locations where access is limited due to their low maintenance requirements.

FirePass is a line of Patented Ignition Suppression Systems that create a breathable, Hypoxic Atmosphere through the filtering of the Ambient Air to create an environment below the Ignition Threshold.
