SPEAKER:

James Golinveaux
Senior Fellow - Water Fire Suppression Products
Tyco Fire Protection Products

Mr. Golinveaux has 30 years of experience in the fire protection industry including both contracting and manufacturing. Mr. Golinveaux is a current member of the NFPA Standards Council, a past member on the Board of Trustees for the Fire Protection Research Foundation, as well as other Boards and Councils including the Factory Mutual Advisory, AFSA, NFSA, International Fire Sprinkler Association and the Fire Sprinkler Association of Brazil. Mr. Golinveaux is a subject matter expert for past two editions of the NFPA Fire Protection Handbook and the NFPA 13 Handbook on Storage and Residential Sprinklers. He has served on NFPA 13 Technical Committee for the past 18 years and has chaired the storage task group for the last 13 years.

SYNOPSIS:

Mr. Golinveaux will review the changes to the Storage Protection Standards, NFPA 13 and FM Global Data Sheet 8-9, and discuss the application of sprinkler technologies within the revised standards.
