With 20 years of experience in Industrial Explosion Protection, in roles of design and sales with major manufacturers, Ed has presented hundreds of Explosion Protection Seminars to engineering firms, insurance groups, fire groups, government agencies and end users.

SYNOPSIS:

The presentation will introduce the history of combustible dust explosions, explosion fundamentals and governing Codes and Standards for combustible dusts. The focus of the presentation will be on Responsive Explosion Protection Mitigation including: Explosion Suppression, Explosion Isolation, Explosion Venting and Explosibility Testing.

IEP Technologies (Industrial Explosion Protection) was established in 2013, from 6 separate explosion protection companies including Fenwal, to create the world’s largest explosion protection company. Corporate history in North America is 60 years, with 8000 installations worldwide. Headquarters are located in Ashland, Massachusetts near Boston.
